Elder Price has left the country!

The day finally came, Elder Price finished up at the MTC and has departed for El Salvador. He had a 2 1/2 hour lay over at LAX on Monday night, ( yes LAX!!! but per missionary rules, we did not go see him, even though the thought did cross our minds:-)) and was allowed to call his family during this time. What a joy it was to hear his voice. Colin was upbeat, and excited, and sounded like a real missionary. He loved the MTC, but after 8 weeks was very anxious to get out and start the real work. Colin was able to call Lindsey, Mike, us and of course Grandma Collene and Grandpa Mike. The flight lasted through the night, leaving LA at midnight and landing in San Salvador at 5 am. We are certain he arrived safely (no calls from the mission President!) and are anxiously awaiting word about his first assignment. We will let you know as soon as we hear from him.

  1. That phone visit was was the best! He will bring joy to all the people he meets, has done so all his life in fact. We're counting the Fast Sundays till he comes home.

  2. Hola Elder Precio,

Te entrano mucho, pero tu obra del senor es muy importante.

Glad to hear you arrived safely, I hope you have a great companion to show you the ropes, enjoy every moment and write in your journal, President Kimball always said that the faintest pencil is better than the sharpest mind (or sommthing like that) enjoy every moment.

The kids are busy back in school, Adam and Alyssa are in seminary. Jake is enjoying Cal State Long Beach and is officially an Eagle Scout yeeha! Matthew is Matthew :)

  3. Hola Elder Price,

Glad you finally got out of the MTC (Mental Torture Chamber....just kidding) ...now you can really use your "magic"...your amazing people skills, which are awesome !!! They will really assist you in getting in the door so you can teach the plan of Happiness.
And remember, there is nothing going on over here that won't be here when you get back. So
have a fantastic mission. We'll hold the fort down until you get back :)
    Buena Suerte amigo,
